Reduce a young person's risk of experiencing violence and justice system involvement.
Whether you are based in the Philadelphia area or elsewhere, you can help The Niche Clinic empower youth and families with the skills, knowledge, and community connections to take control of their finances.
Join Our Board
The Niche Clinic seeks professionals at all stages of their careers who are passionate about financial literacy, youth development, and confronting the school-to-prison pipeline. We do not discriminate based on age, race, socioeconomic status, gender identity, sexual orientation, or any protected characteristics.
Monthly Commitment
Board Committees meet monthly, with the full board convening virtually on a quarterly basis, typically on the fourth Saturday of the month. One in-person meeting is required each year.
Time Commitment
About 5 hours per month including committee work. Additional meetings may be required based on assignments.
Location
We are particularly interested in Directors with a deep connection to Philadelphia, but city residency is not required.

As a Niche Clinic business partner, you commit to:
Providing 3-month internship experiences for one or more youth at your business site (minimum of 10 hours per youth per week)
Checking in weekly with The Niche Clinic staff to provide brief status updates on each intern
Providing feedback to interns via a performance rubric
Successful interns may be considered for temporary or permanent positions after their internship experience concludes
